Did you grow up with a station as the family car when you were

I sure did! I grew up in a BIG of 12, so we had 2 station wagons to haul all of us (This was back in the 70s and early when I was a young child, and our spanned the age spectrum from to college-age). This was how we went to each Sunday (and an entire pew), school day, camping in the summer,

I also made my countless to the hospital for my surgeries throughout in the back of a station wagon, Fort Wayne, IN to St. Louis, MO .

I always rode in the rear of the wagon; it was the best seat for space and the view.

The station I remember from childhood

1) 1976 Buick Century with tan vinyl interior. was my favourite car for some reason, and it was car. It’s the first one I since being adopted by my in the late 70s. This was the one towed our fold-down trailer the tent that was specially to attach to the side of the trailer to the overflow of our family). Dad and I made trips to St. Louis for my surgeries, and I to camp in Michigan one summer in one. It was great for hauling me and my and medical supplies to hospital and I loved it!

2) 1978 Chrysler LeBaron Country wagon—metallic sunfire with woody-wagon trim, and green vinyl interior. was Mom’s car—she used it Dad was at work with the Buick. We had one at the same time as the 1976 and it continued serving our family after the Buick died—and when we had a full-size passenger With Dad working, we still to use two cars. The Chrysler was our school bus and our bus, too (until the van took the primary family-transporter duties). I made many trips to the in St. Louis with Dad in this The Chrysler finally met its end when one of my learning to drive, wrecked it. It was on its legs anyway, due to terminal eating away the metal the fake wood trim.

3) 1986 Chevrolet Cavalier with black cloth This was our last station a brother of mine bought it for the By that time (the 1990s), we were using our van—a white 1985 Dad used this mostly as to work in Fort Wayne, IN. By time, I had started high in Fort Wayne, and needed to be every day for the 50-mile round to my high school in Fort I also made the remainder of my trips (both Indianapolis and St. in this one, with Mom or Dad driving. This one was not used as a family hauler—most of my siblings had out and married. The van did most of the hauling for

what was left of our family at the camping trailer, etc. I reached university age, I driving—and I learned to drive in the wagon. I drove it for the next two on my daily commute to college in Wayne, until I finally it in on my first car—a 1989 Aries K sedan. The last I is that the car, soon being traded in and sold at an auction, was abandoned on a side somewhere in the Fort Wayne

Those are my station wagon I would love to someday a full-sized station wagon and drive it.
