1. Make sure the coil is in working order, to test set a meter to ohms, connect the to terminal #15 and terminal #1, the reading be 1.5 ohms. Then from #1 to the high tension outlet terminal) the reading should be 7.7

2. Disconnect the multi plug the TCI-H switch unit, a multi meter set to volts, terminals #4 and #2, switch on the ignition and see that you obtain battery If that is not the case trace the back to the fuse box for a possible circuit and/or faulty contact or perhaps a blown

3. Now switch off the ignition switch and the multi plug to the TCI-H Now pull the multi plug the Hall sender on the distributor, the multi meter set to volts to #15 and #1. The reading should be 2 volts dropping to zero after 1 to 2 If this is not the case replace the unit and coil. (Have assist you with this by switching on the ignition while you the meter.)
