A quick drive in a 1983 Polo Formel E (mk2)

replaced the first-generation Polo an all-new model in October of Called type 86c internally, the Polo was initially offered with a shooting brake-like that earned it nicknames as Bread Van and Squareback.

The analog instrument cluster is and easy to read.  We like the fuel economy gauge automatically turns on when the E is engaged.

The mk2′s suspension is not as as the mk1′s so it doesn’t lean as in corners.

The brakes are very for a car that is three decades old – guessing a lot of mk1 Polo owners about not having a brake

The interior is generally solid but the door panels feel  Still, the Polo seems better than, say, an early-1980s Corsa / Vauxhall Nova.

The body gives the Polo an amount of cargo space, when the rear seat is flat, but it’s too bad that the isn’t divided.  Being to fold down one side or the would make the Polo more practical.
